First State Orthopaedics Foot and Ankle team provides both operative and nonoperative treatment for common injuries to the foot and ankle. The foot and ankle are complex structures that are prone to injuries and overuse conditions, such as arthritis. Ankle sprains and fractures are common in both sports and simple falls. Injuries to the foot and ankle can be very challenging to patients as mobility can be affected. Goals of treatment center on restoring stability and mobility to allow patients to return to normal activities.
